I want to share my bee story and want to thank club members Norma and Danny W. For helping out. I was going out of town and had a few Deeps and decided better to put them out and try to catch a swarm. I used swarm commander in each, had 4 out, 2 I just made that day and 2 from before. I was out of town so couldn't tell when, but when I checked on Tuesday, I had two swarms, a larger one in a new one I had on the shed and smaller one in the old one next to the apiary. Norma let me borrow a nuc box for one of the swarms as I only have one. I messaged Danny some pictures and some questions and he was in town and swung bye as he said it would be easier to see and explain. We found both the queens and moved them both into nucs. One was a small pomelo size swarm and the other filled up a nuc. I have now relocated the larger one into a permanent location and hoping the girls stay happy. Was a buzzing week so far, probably will put another trap on the roof.
Thanks for reading.
