Here's another opportunity for several people to help out with the fair booth. It's one you can do at home, and that kids can do too.

The background walls of the booth are going to be hexagons that look like you're in a hive -- like this prototype:

The hexagons are made out of cardboard, and painted different colors to resemble pollen, nectar, and so on. A few of them will have printed photos with "bee facts" like the "egg" above.

Easy enough, right? Except that we need about 220 of them by June 12.

220 of anything is a lot for one person to make, so we're hoping to split the effort between several people. Can you make some hexagons for the booth? I can send you an exact pattern and measurements (they're 8" wide). You'll have to find your own cardboard (Amazon boxes from your neighbors work great). If you can paint your hexagons some solid colors, too, that's ideal; if not, we'll paint 'em.

If you can help, let me know how many you can make! Just send an email to me at <r...@tigertech.com>. Thanks!

Is there a YouTube tutorial on how to make these?

Great Idea , but sorry I will be out of the country but be back for the fair to pick up some AM shift with my Wife ,
I wished I knew about this [project before as I would have been able to do them instead of tinkering with the dolly for my extractor.
Sincerely Joel

Hi Mimi,

I don't have a YouTube tutorial, but I do have a template and written instructions, which I've sent to you privately.

If anyone else wants to participate, just let me know -- we could definitely use a couple more people!
