FYI, ACBA donations are tax deductible

Hi folks! Since it's Giving Tuesday, I thought I'd mention that the Alameda County Beekeepers Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (tax ID 94-3465679), so any donations to the club are tax deductible.

Our annual budget is under $13,000, which is about $26 per member. Nobody takes a salary and every cent is used for basic expenses like meeting room rental, speaker fees, building the county fair booth, and liability insurance.

Donations make up the difference between the $10 we charge for membership and that $26. Even small donations make a big difference and help us keep membership fees low.
