Hive Inspection Class - on ZoomLearn how to do a thorough inspection of your beehive and keep the bees calm!Part 1: Sunday, April 11th, 9am - 10:30amPart 2: Sunday, May 2nd, 9am - 10:30am
$50, recordings includedOptional in-person hive inspection on April 26th to give you hands-on experience.Inspecting is complicated to learn, as you are learning multiple things at once: what calm vs defensive bee behavior looks like, how to use the tools so you can get the hive apart efficiently and also keep the bees calm, how to ID what is in the hive, and what your inspection goals are. During the pandemic I started teaching this class online, and it is great to talk first about inspecting without the bees (to distract), and then add in the presence of the bees.. I encourage you also to come to a live hive inspection on April 26th. I will continue to have hive inspections this summer to reinforce your skills.Click here for the full description & to register!Intro to Backyard Beekeeping - on Zoom
