I got a queen (marked green) who turned one of my hives into a nasty bunch. She got replaced by a sweet mated queen, and meanie was moved into a sad little hive. It’s time to replace mean green queen with a sweet mated queen.

Who has one available? I’m in Oakland’s Rockridge area.

Mean green queen absconded with the small hive. This is the hive that had suffered from a small hive beetle infestation. Those tiny beetles are deceiving: their small size makes them seem cute and innocuous, but they
can certainly wreck havoc! The upshot is that I don’t need a queen: I’m getting a 10 frame hive from Sung.
