Hey folks! Those of you who attend the in-person meetings probably noticed that things were getting a little crowded. Well, good news: beginning with Tuesday's meeting, we're moving to a new meeting space with more room.

It's still in San Leandro, less than two miles from the previous place, so you don't need to go far. Here's the new address:

All Saints Episcopal Church

911 Dowling Blvd.

San Leandro CA 94577

You can just come in the front door (on Dowling Avenue) or the side door (on East Merle Court), both of which we’ll have open. (We’ll be meeting in the facility room that they rent to nonprofits, not the church sanctuary.) If it looks like this, you're in the right place:

Note that the five-space on-site parking lot is only for people with disabilities or mobility issues; everyone else should park on the street (there's tons of street parking).

If you're wondering how we chose this venue: we evaluated more than 20 different places based on location, size, cost, parking, safety, and their policies. This was the clear winner, and the people who run it are incredibly nice. We're looking forward to being good “tenants”. Thanks to Ruby, our club secretary, for helping with the search.

(If you're wondering about the this month's meeting in general, our speaker will be Dr. Linda J. Siperstein on the topic of Bee venom as a therapeutic agent. More details here.)

Hope to see you there!

Thank you Rob for all the hard work you put into finding us a new place!

I like the location and it's good to hear the people are nice and inviting. I'm looking forward to attending the next meeting.
