I’m pretty certain those bees in his hair that he pulled out and around his neck was trying to sting him.  Anyone who beekeeps without protective gear will get stung - even with the upmost skills.  Some people are just less reactive/allergic to stings than others. Those people are lucky.   For me the swelling and itching the next day is worst than the 10min of momentary pain.

I am continuing my injections for honey bees and yellow jackets through Kaiser at the now 4 week interval.  I haven't been stung since my trip to the ER, so haven't tested the effectiveness, but prevere to better my odds.
