To make it rhyme, would you pronounce both words to rhyme with swarm or with charm?

That paragraph about "Tanging" is interesting.  (about half way down in the article)
Could this work for "Extracting" bees from an otherwise inaccessible cavity?
By thumping on a water-heater could you drive the colony, queen and all, into a
bee box that was connected to the entrance of it by a tube?  - channel the bees directly into a hve-box with drawn comb.
Would it work with an established colony,
or only with a colony that had just moved in?

If anyone has the opportunity to try this,  please let me know if it does or does not work.

A few years back I went on a swarm call that was in a tree ~15-20’ up. The cluster was overhanging the fence line into the neighbors yard and I had about 4’ to set up my ladder at the pool edge. Precarious situation notwithstanding, I managed to knock the blob containing the queen into a bucket and hive it at the base of the tree. But between the pool’s chlorine and the neighbor’s honeysuckle the bees absolutely would not settle down.

I remembered I had an old pot and lid in my swarm kit that I chucked in there after reading about tanging. I grabbed it, parked myself near the hive box and started clanging away. Within about ten minutes the tree bees had reclustered and began making their way down to the box. It was trippy, especially for the family watching in amazement behind patio glass clicking pics as some lunatic sat cross legged in a bee suit playing the e flat alto kitchen cookware. So for what it’s worth, it does work.
