You can spend $$ on traps from the garden department or amazon,
or DIY a very effective one from a plastic Soda bottle.
- Cut the top off about 2 inches from the cap.
- Put an inch of water and a drop or two of (dawn?) dish soap in it.
- Tie some "bait" like raw chicken-skin to the threads, or suspend
wet catfood above the water.**
- Invert the threaded end of the bottle into the part containing the
water.
(there should be a gap between the bait and the water)
- Set one or several out in the back yard NOT NEAR any bee hives.
- check weekly, and refresh as needed.
