Sr. Testing Analyst

Location:Jacksonville,FL

Duration:6months

 

 

Required Skills/Experience:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop complex test plans and test the most complex new feature functionality which provide new products and services, and include items which enhance systems flexibility, reliability and maintainability.

Assist in the development of standards for all software/vendor documentation to ensure that feature functionality requirements are delivered.

Develop and manage complex integrated testing processes with vendors for all software/hardware matters of feature functionality and delivery.

Perform the most complex integration, interoperability and regression testing on new software.

Participate in the coordination of site schedules for software/hardware verification.

Evaluate and recommend new testing processes and systems (automation).

Work directly with multiple technical vendors, external organizations, or customers to ensure all goals and objectives are met.

Train and develop lower level employees.

Conduct workshops to transfer knowledge to the operational technical owners.

Provide second and third level assistance for trouble resolution.

Key player in system integration testing of multiple systems.

Develop, implement and enhance testing toolset.

Manage test schedules and plans to ensure they are followed and executed properly.

Suggest and lead team in implementation of new technology and system software into the more complex testing environment.

Provide technical leadership in response to user requests and in the resolution of the more complex issues and problems.

This will include leading cross functional teams and efforts to introduce methods and metrics on projects and identifying new opportunities.

Provide insight and feedback on new technology for testing of hardware/software.

Provide technical solutions and improvements to the more complex testing environments through use of skills, experience, and leadership.

 

 

Candidate Profile:

Experience in enhanced platform services, or data processing, JCL, scheduling skills, TSO, SDSF is recommended.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Clear understanding of project's role in meeting departmental objectives.

Advanced business knowledge and excellent project management skills.

Ability to work independently with little or no supervision on a complex project.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Environment, Physical & Other Requirements: NA

 

Minimum of 5 years experience writing and executing test cases, based on requirements documentation provided by another resource or department required.

Experience managing testing implementations specifically Global implementation preferred.

Knowledge of HR processes, including Personnel Development, Org Management, Benefits, Payroll, Learning Solutions, Recruiting and Staffing, Self Service, and/or Personnel Administration.

Experience testing the HR modules of SAP or other ERP REQUIRED

Experience testing the integration of systems with SAP or other ERP REQUIRED

Minimum of 4 years experience reviewing and providing feedback on QA testing documentation.

Knowledge of and experience creating and documenting industry best practices and standard processes.

Outstanding analytical skills.

Requirements documentation experience a plus.

Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates required.

Good team player.

Superior organizational skills.

Available to work long hours including nights and weekends.

4+ years experience developing & maintaining project plans and coordinating project resources.

Excellent issue resolution and escalation management skills.

Leadership presence, comfortable in front of the client and executive leaders.

  • Ability to work with a diverse leadership team.
