Hello my name is Brian Gregg and I would like to notify you about an event that we have coming up at Church of the Messiah. On Saturday, October 23,2010 at 12:00 noon Citizens United For Safety(C.U.F.S.) will present its 2nd annual "Fallen Angels". Citizens United For Safety (C.U.F.S.) is hosting "Fallen Angels" as a citywide candle light vigil honoring people who have died from a violent/tragic crime or who have been a victim of a violent/tragic crime. We're asking for our citizens to come together to honor the memory of our "Fallen Angels". Each person will receive a little angel in honor of the person who was victimized. We're asking that everyone volunteer to patrol the streets of Detroit during the three nights of Angel's Night as a part of "Fallen Angels". We are asking city residents to use this event as a opportunity to volunteer in their community year round. You may bring a picture of the person you wish to honor or wear a t-shirt in their name. Join us Saturday, October 23,2010 @ 12:00 noon, Church of the Messiah 231 E. Grand Blvd at the corner of E. Lafayette.
Also at this event we are looking to honor all the police officers and firefighters that where injured or died in the line of duty.We would like to know if you would be able to help us honor the firefighters and police officers that were injured or died in the line of duty at this event.
I was contacting you because there has been so much violence that has taken place in the school system over the pass years and we would like to have the youth come out and be present at this event, but not just present speak how they feel about there safety in the school system.Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

                                                                                                                  Sincerely,
                                                                                                                  Brian Gregg
