Thawr Institute 4033 Aurora AVE N, Seattle  98103   Please join us for a special engagement with Mufti Abdullah Nana, a renowned scholar in North America, as well as the President of the Halal Food Standards Alliance of North America.  For tonight only, Friday, October 8th, following maghrib, Mufti Abdullah Nana will be bringing the benefit of his scholarship with a dars of Imam Nawawi's Riyad us-Saliheen.  This is indeed a blessed opportunity for seekers of knowledge.    Additionally, after `isha',  Mufti Abdullah Nana will be presenting an update on his project for halal certification in the United States, for which he has traveled to Australia and numerous halal plants throughout in North America to ensure quality halal standards are being met and bringing attention to those which are not.   In brief, Mufti Abdullah Nana is a graduate from Darul Uloom Azaadville, South Africa where he completed his Mufti credentials.  He also holds a degree in Business Administration from Berkley, and currently resides in the bay area, where he teaches, preaches, guides and leads students from all walks of life.    This presentation will be in both Arabic and English.  Brothers and sisters alike are encouraged to attend.      http://daspolitik.blogspot.com
