As-salaamu `alaykum wa-rahmatullahi wa-barakaatuh,
After an extremely positive feedback from "The Fiqh of Family" workshop, alhamdulilah the community has yet another opportunity to benefit from the shuyookh. Sh. Junaid Kharsany and his wife are returning to the Eastside inshaAllah to continue the series titled "Mothers of Believers" for couples and singles looking for a head-start on their future marriages! We're blessed to have such a deep and intimate record of our Prophet's (s.) personal life. We'll be examining how he (s.) conducted himself with his wives and household with the goal of improving our own marriages in order to create the ideal Muslim family. What lessons can we derive through the Prophet's (s.) interactions with his family? How did he speak and treat his wives? How did he assist them and vice versa? What did he do to resolve conflict (a very important topic for any married couple)? Sh. Junaid and Ustadah Aadilah will be covering all this and more inshaAllah, see below for more details.
(This is a rare opportunity for our sisters to spend time with a qualified Islamic teacher, Ustadah Aadilah. We especially encourage the ladies to attend!)
