palindrome (n.) Look up palindrome at Dictionary.com
"line that reads the same backward and forward," 1620s, from Greek
palindromos "a recurrence," literally "a running back." Second element is
dromos "a running" (see dromedary); first is palin "again, back," from PIE
*kwle-i-, from root *kwel- (1) forming words to do with turning, rolling,
and wheels (see cycle (n.)), here with notion of "revolving." PIE *kw-
becomes Greek p- before some vowels. Related: Palindromic.

இதையேன் "பின்பி" என்று சொன்னாரென்று புரியவில்லை. வளரி என்பது தமிழில்
வளைதடியைக் குறிக்கும்.. இது ஒரு பழந்தமிழர் ஆயுதம். தென்பாண்டி நாட்டில்
இன்றுமுண்டு. இதை முன்னோக்கி இலாவகமாய் வீசினால் எதிராளியைச் சாய்த்துவிட்டு
நம்மிடமே (அனுப்பியதுபோற்)  திரும்பி வந்துசேரும். வளரியோட்டம் என்பது வளரியின்
பாதை = போனபடி திரும்பிவருதல். இங்கே ஒரு வார்த்தை முன்னே போனபடி பின்னே
திரும்பிவருகிறது. இதை வளரித்தல் =  வளரிபோல் மீண்டுவருதல் என்றும்  சொல்லலாம்.
palindrome song என்பதை வளரியோட்டப் பாட்டு அல்லது வளரிப் பாட்டென்று
சொல்லலாம்.

தமிழுக்கே இயல்பான மரபுவழிப் பொருந்துஞ் சொற்களை விட்டு விந்தையான புத்தமைவான
சொற்களை ஏன் படைக்கிறார்? - என்று புரியவில்லை. நம்மூர் அடையாளங்கள் எதுவுமே
கூடாதா?

ஐயா,

அவர் பின்னே இருந்து படித்தாலும் அதே சொற்களாக வரும் என பின்பி என

அதனையே ஒரு மாலைமாற்றுச்சொல்லாக அமைத்துச் சொல்லியிருக்கின்றார்.

பின்பி என்பது புதுச்சொல்லாக இருந்தாலும், சுருக்கமாகவும் அவர் கருத்துப்படி

(அப்படித்தான் இருக்கும் என நான் உய்த்தறிகின்றேன்)
மாலைமாற்றுச்ச்சொல்லாகவும் இருப்பதால் வரவேற்கலாம் என்பது என் கருத்து.

மாலைமாற்று, பின்பி என இருசொற்கள் இருப்பதால் பிழையில்லை.

பின்பி என்பது ஒன்றும் புதியதல்ல! யாப்பருங்கலம் போன்ற யாப்பு நூல்களில் காணப்படும் சித்திரக்கவி என்னும் வகையைச் சார்ந்தது.

காளமேகப்புலவர் பாடல்களில் இவ்வகைப் பாக்களைக் காணலாம்!

மேலும், ‘சிவயவசி’ என்று திருமந்திரத்திலும் இவ்வகைச் சொற்கள் ஆளப்பட்டுள்ளது.
