Vantage Vue Products with Metric Defaults and US Radio Frequencies Dear Davis Reseller, We mentioned in our email communication a couple of weeks ago that Davis will begin shipping Vantage Vue domestic and EU/UK products in early September. (Our ship date was September 1 but has slipped slightly to September 8.) As part of that introduction, we also want to make you aware of an additional version of Vantage Vue that will be available with a metric rain spoon (0.2 mm), metric console measurement defaults and US radio transmission frequencies (902-928 MHz). These “M” version products (station, console and ISS) will begin shipping September 15. Here’s how the models compare: Product US Version EU/UK/OV Version M Version (Metric Units/US Radio) Part Number Station 6250 6250 EU/UK 6250M Console 6351 6351 EU/UK 6351M ISS 6357 6357 OV 6357M Measurement Units Rain collector 0.01 in. 0.2 mm 0.2 mm Console unit defaults US Metric Metric Radio Transmission US EU/UK US Power adapter US EU/UK US We are offering these products in response to requests from our resellers. Potential customers who will be able to use this product are: People who can use products that transmit on US radio frequencies in countries outside of the US (e.g., Canada, Mexico, Australia, parts of South America, New Zealand) People in the US who prefer a metric reading Vantage Vue station Note that we do not offer an M version of the Vantage Pro2 because we ship a metric adaptor with the VP2 that allows the consumer to reconfigure the rain bucket to read in metric units. Vantage Vue has a rain cartridge that cannot be changed by the consumer.
