CHITRAKARMA INDIA DRAWING CONTEST
The Embassy of India, Bangkok held the Drawing Contest “Chitrakarma India Drawing Contest” from 15 March, 2017 till 31 May, 2017. Participants within Thailand in the age range of 10–15 years (both years inclusive) were eligible to participate in the Contest by sending in their Artworks to the Embassy. The theme of drawing was India and India-Thailand Friendship. The enthusiasm shown by young participants from difference provinces of the Kingdom of Thailand drew a very good response, and the Embassy received a good number of artworks altogether. 100 shortlisted paintings/drawings as sent by children will be on display in the form of an Exhibition at “Exhibition Hall, Art & Culture Building, next to Chulalongkorn University Museum, Phyathai Road, Bangkok”(Flyer/Map encl.).
We request all, along with your family and friends, to visit the Exhibition Hall any time during the working days from 9 AM to 5 PM. All those visiting the Exhibition Hall can not only go through all exhibited Artworks but also give ratings to any ten of the most suitable Artworks, by rating 10 paintings of their choice from 1 to 10 in the Form available at the entrance of the Hall. Such ratings by you will entail weightage to the artworks of top finalists on the basis of sequential ratings given to each paintings and will help judge the most suitable painting for the top prize. The top prize is three Air Tickets to India.
