Caros,
Alguma resposta?
<segue o log do papo>
abs,
Pedro Markun

Fernando: Well as I said, the main reason to talk to you was to extend the invitation to co-organize the un-conference
Sent at 5:28 PM on Thursday
Fernando: As the main work will happen here in Montevideo, the main work of TH and FCI would be to promote and get founding to the un-conference
Let me tell you how we are involved
Sent at 5:30 PM on Thursday
Fernando: We are part of the organization of the Latin America Open Data Conference, and got some founding from Omydiar to do the un-conference and the conference
Also world bank, W3c, and Uruguaian Goverment is founding the conference
For the unconferece we have the remainings of 50: US$, that we estimate around 20:
Maybe FCI is getting another 20: so we are just near the foundings we estimate we need
Also we are going to try to get fly tickets for both events for some civil society people, so we can spare some money from fly tickets
As the un-conference is not scheduled, but is build by all participants, we have nothing to prepare for that.
Sent at 5:35 PM on Thursday
Fernando: Main working about organizing the accommodation, fly tickets, place for the unconference (that we might have it already) and other stuff most be done here in Montevideo, so DATA will take responsibility over it
Sent at 5:37 PM on Thursday
Fernando: We should discuss if you can get any founding, propaganda, and other stuff you can do for the un-conference, if you like to do it with us
Sent at 5:38 PM on Thursday
Fernando: We are having a meeting tomorrow with FCI to define those things, So maybe we can arrange an other meeting for you to explore the possibilities and have it with the entire team
What do you think?
me: I think this sounds awesome
Fernando: Ok, would you like to talk it over your partners and arrange a meeting with both teams for next week?
me: yup, no prob
I also think we should try to get the hacker bus there.
Fernando: Yes of course!
but to the conference you mean?
and un-conference
Sent at 5:42 PM on Thursday
me: also did you talk with Sunglight Foundation already? They've just hired an 'international manager' of sorts
Fernando: Ok, may be it could come a few days before to do some stuff... I think the other mates would like to have it appart from the conferences to be able to develop it in full... but we can discuss it
me: that would be cool
do we have dates?
Fernando: For me it's a good idea... making noise!
24-25 unconference and 26 - 27 of june confeerence
Is far but close...
Fernando: Ok, talk to your mates there and send me a mail to do the meeting
