Planning Meeting for Timber Heritage: auction items needed, sales needed

The planning meeting for THA will be this Thursday at cafe marina, woodley
island, 5pm. Ticket order forms are available with the color poster on the
other side. The response to this attractive graphic is good, and shows a
class event. I invite everyone to get some of these. I do not do a hard
sell myself. I show the graphic and explain the event. Often people want
to know what we've accomplished, and I tell them about all the steam
locomotives now being at the roundhouse, and when speeder rides are
happening, people can tour the roundhouse. Also, auction items are still
needed. When you get a donation, get a business card from them so we know
who and where to send a thank you. This will be their tax deductible
receipt, too. Also get the value, so we can list this at the auction.
Then, get it to Mike kellogg asap so he can make up the auction catalog
and get it printed. Mike is at 443-2957. I would also like to see us get a
good variety of finger food for the cocktail time, and help demonstrate
that this is a high quality event. Marcus
