[tha-announce] Donkey Days this weekend, volunteers needed

With the successful fundraiser in the bag, there is barely enough time for
air, and we have the big Dolbeer Donkey Days event at Fort Humboldt. ( HO
scale model train club open house also). Mike Kellogg organized the
auction and so much of the fund raiser, and he is organizing Donkey Days.
Let's give him a hand. One of the things that is needed is help on the
food concession table. I agreed to set up the stuff in the morning, as I
have large coolers and tables, and have done this before. Don Banducci
will supply the bar b q , and help out. We need more folks to rotate in on
the cooking and stafffing the table. If you are planning on being a part
of the steam up and such, please consider spending an hour scattered here
and there over the two days to help the food stand. It makes us money, and
it is an important attraction for the event.

I also want to suggest that this is an ideal time to get some very low
cost advertising out there for the speeder rides. Mike and I concur that a
hand out is needed with the dates and for people to check our website in
June for particulars. It is better than buying expensive advertising in
June, and we have a huge part of our target market right there at Fort
Humboldt: those that are interested enough to come here. Mike suggested
that Gerry has a poster of speeder pictures. We could add a header saying
SPEEDER RIDES to it, and I have an easel to put it on, with a holder for
1/3 folded sheets attached. Mark and Gerry, can we do this?

I wanted to post again that the board meeting is a week from this Tuesday,
not this week, to avoid confusion. Thanks to everyone for all that you do.
