2012 Volunteer hours records

Hello, THA people:

Attached is the current draft of Timber Heritage Association’s cumulative volunteer hours served in 2012, gathered from all the sources I have found to date. I have already received input from (all but 2) board members. Now it’s time for the volunteer ranks to add to the records. Please look over the information I have listed for you (or, perhaps I have no information on you). In either case, if you see areas where you volunteered more hours than I have listed, please respond to this email with your updated information – meaning, how many hours you worked, by category, greater than I have currently listed for you.

 

This information is important, and THA wants to have our records reflect every volunteer hour served. This information is needed to demonstrate to potential grant funders that we are a diverse and dynamic organization, with lots of volunteers working lots of hours in a variety of capacities. Our new grants committee will be preparing grant applications in the near future to fund some of our projects, so please help us perfect this information as best we can. For your information I listed both the 2012 and 2011 totals so you can compare the 2 years of records. The major time loss we suffered this year was for steamups (300 hrs.) and artifact moves from Fields Landing to Samoa (1300 hrs.) We almost made up the loss in other categories. I know there are still some hours out there I have no records for, so please review and respond. Thanks for all you do for THA.
