WAREHOUSE BLAZE – A warehouse in Chicago burned down rapidly in the middle of the night.  Firefighters managed to contain the fire to the single warehouse, though there was heat damage to a number of other buildings.  Initial investigations seem to show that paint being stored was main accelerant in the fire.  Cont’d on page 7

ANOTHER THREE FROZEN – Three more people have been found frozen to death.  The FBI has sent a team to help the investigators who are now deeming this a serial killer.  The identities of the newest victims are currently being withheld as investigators attempt to contact next of kin. SNOW HALTS CITY – Once again heavy snowfall has brought traffic to a standstill.  A semi slid sideways on the Kennedy stopping southbound traffic.  Schools will be closed for the rest of the week as crews attempt to keep the roads clear.  Temperatures remain in the negatives for the twelfth day in a row. Mayor Daley has decided to call a state of emergency, stating that “While the weather has been bad, we have faced much worse, and will continue to persevere.”  Cont’d Page 2

TANKER CRASH – A tanker carrying fuel to a local gas station went off the road and crashed through the front doors of an Apple store.  Firefighters rushed to the scene, but not before the tanker caught on fire.  The nearby streets were closed as fire did extensive damage to the building.  There were two reported deaths and a number of other injuries.  Apple has yet to make an official comment on the incident. NIGHTCLUB DEATHS – Two bodies were found torched in the VIP room of a nightclub.  The cause of death is unknown, but police found a number of bottles of hard liquor around the corpses.  Investigators are still looking into the chance of foul play or if this was indeed just an accident.  The bodies have not yet been identified.
