Yu, which has been working on its services platform for nearly a year now, in the first phase offers services in travel (local cabs, flights and hotels), food, shopping and will add more categories. These services are being rolled out in partnership with food ordering platform Zomato Media Pvt. Ltd, price comparison travel site Ixigo and price comparison shopping portal Scandid.
Micromax has been investing in start-ups in the last six months, as a part of strategy to build an integrated mobile ecosystem. In October, it made a strategic investment in Scandid run by WishPoint Inc., in digital fitness app HealthifyMe (Caeruz Ventures Pvt. Ltd) in May and Ixigo (Le Travenues Technology Pvt. Ltd), a mobile travel search firm in June.
Gurgaon-based Micromax was started in 2008, and sells its products in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Russia. The company is looking to expand its presence to markets such as Africa, West Asia and some other parts of Asia.

dear friends, it is true that the box is missing accessories like leather pouch and drivers cd, and the drivers are not their in the website of micromax, what is the fun buying this phone with out drivers, it will not sync.
i have opened 10 boxes sealed boxes in different shops, but, they all have the missing of 2 accessories, which is even printed on the box, goes missing, when contacted mirco max , they say ,printing mistake, how can they do that, they print some thing and sell some thing,

My brother-in-law had a Blackberry 8900 with track ball and it last only for about few months after that he bought Blackberry 9700 without trackball he said that this micromax Q5 will do the same. Is it?
I have purchase Micromax Q7 this month on 18 May 10. At the time of purchase shop keeper has not provided me the full assesories. Leather pouch and driver was missing and shopkeeper told me they already spoken to company and soon they will provide us. even after so many call we have been given only assurance with any resuly. how customer being make fooled printing on box and not being delivered to the customer. this is some this should not be done by the company which gives the wrong reputation. this is some thing risk i took buying micromax mobile, normally i prefer only NOKIA which already I am hold 3 sets and gives us good result.
Hi friends i have mxx Q7 i have downloaded pc suit and driver from mxx site.after installing driver when i connect my mobile to pc through com port in pc suit it shows disconnected .can any one tell me what should i do..to get it connected.

its my observation that Q7 camera does not have performance of 2MPXL. i have another Nokia N70 mobile with 2mpxl camera and if we compare quality of photo its have lots of different and N70 shows better clearity than Q7.
With regard to drivers. It is true that i dint find the drivers disk in the box. However you dont need drivers. I was able to connect to my laptop without any drivers. I can access my phone. Should you need micromax suit, go ahead and download it from the link provided by Naveen.
Wifi signal works absolutely fine. People who commented about wifi issues you could probably try power cycle on your modem and router. It is a intermittent internet issue. Need not be problem only with your phone. Isolate the issue and find a fix for it.
Any electronic item is not full proof. You cannot expect it to function all the time. Thats the reason many firms do not offer guarantee on their electronic goods, however they offer warranty. Micromax has a 1yr warranty. But it does not cover any damages, spillage or any such issues. Should you have an issue with regard to software or malfunction get it serviced. Find a nearby service centre.

I am using a Q& presently and i donot agree with some of the review given. The phone not at all looks like a china made. It has the best looks actually than the nokia that has pictured here.
Q7 does not look like a phone from a new entrant at all and is working pretty good in all aspects.
It is a value for money.

I have purchased this phone on 9th. WIFI Antenna is one of the weakest thing. And to connect to the Wifi router you should be nearer to the wifi router which defeats the purpose of Wifi. One cannot type the address in the Opera mini browser. I have also tried using the latest 5.1 version. After using a motorola phone for two years , this micromax mobile looks like it is worth less than Rs.3000 (Wifi is useless and browsing is a real pain). Also i cannot connect using the WIFI for browsing. Only pros is the dual sim and QWERT keypad. Micromax should be sued for cheating customers by not providing the standard specifications (WIFI range)
No.. only one java Application can be run @ a time..
one more imp info on Q7 is.. u cannot play Music when Java application is running..
but if u minimise the java application then u can play music

i love this phone and its worth buying cos no company gives so many features in such low price. its wifi and everything is working ya the video quality is poor rest everything is upto the mark.

i recently bought q7 and its working absltly fine,wifi is also of no prob,as just search for network and then connect,i can install so many games and apps from sites like .umnet.com & .mobilegamesarena.net etc.when opened any java app by double tapping alt it converts to normal number key pad so that we can use just like in normal phones,coming to ear phones it has quality equivalent to w205 sony eric so 5k for the phone is absolutely liberal as we cant find wifi under 12k in any phone,also its working
ONE MONTH AGO I PURCHASED MVL G81 WITH PUSH MAIL TECHNOLOGY AND I MAKE MY BOSS TO PURCHASE IT IN THIS WE CAN CONFIGURE 3MAILS FOR TWO YRS FREE SERVICE EXCILENT. JUST LIKE OTHER PUSH MAIL PHONES IN MKT. BUT NO WI-FI. AND AIRCEL IS WORKING FI9.
