Omnipage now supports OCR with the TONGAN Language

Omnipage has been one of those old-hand top-of-the-range OCR software packages.

OCR - Optical Character Recognition.

Essentially, scanning your document and having the text put into your Word Processor, preferably with the text correctly spelled, aligned and all the graphics in the right place.

I didn't try it out, my brother who is into this OCR thing noticed the language addition and just gave us a bit of a lead? It seems, if you actually bought the non-pirated version that this Language support has been in the package from at least 2005.

I guess this means that all those filed paper documents may eventually become electronic ?
