Warm Greetings from the World Assembly of Youth Headquarters in Melaka, Malaysia!
We are pleased to inform you that the Call for Projects for the third edition of the Social Innovation and Global Ethics Forum (SIGEF 2016) is now open for students and individual project bearers; social entrepreneurs; startups; and non-profit organisations.
SIGEF 2016 is organised by Horyou in collaboration with the World Assembly of Youth (WAY) in order to give visibility to initiatives that contribute to advancing social innovation, global ethics, and social good around the world. SIGEF 2016 will bring together a wide array of international speakers, decision makers, business representatives and specialists, along with a large number of socially involved organisations as well as individuals. The goal is to explore, define and share new ideas that meet social needs more effectively.
Ten finalist projects from all the participating projects will be pre-selected after day two of the event which will be taking place from November 9 to 11, 2016 in Marakesh, Morocco. The 10 finalist projects will receive a dedicated interview to be hosted on SIGEF TV. These 10 finalists will also have the opportunity to present that project on stage in a five-minute pitch to the Projects Committee and attendees.
