The Android version of Tangled is like the Palm OS version in that the
user interface is basically a collection of check lists. However,
there are some interesting differences. For example, the list link
operation that takes about a minute to run on a Palm OS TE|2 takes
about a second to run on an Android OS Nexus One.

I'm planning to release a beta version of the Android version of
Tangled in a couple weeks.

I just timed how long it takes to switch the Android version of the
Tangled field guide back and forth between the birds of NA and the
flowers of NA topics: about 1 second. The time to switch between
these two topics took about a minute with Palm devices.

I'm still porting a few features from the Palm version of the
application, but the release of the beta version should not be too
much longer.
