Greg,

I have not seen any icons except photo, audio and map (that is a good
thing) since installing tgu. I can see all the files on the SD card
using Windows explorer. Also using the Palm resources (Filez) the
files seem to be in place.
I have deleted and reinstalled the new tgu (10.3.3) a couple of times
with no changes. I have uploaded a copy of the link log to the file
section here.

Any suggestions? (oh..I also reformated and reinstalled everything
once also)

Hi, Ken.

According to that link.txt, it appears that the Tangled application is
not finding the phenotypic directory.

If you look at your SD card's directory structure and there is a /
tangled/birds_of_NA/text directory, you can delete it (and the text
directories in the other topics, such as /tangled/flowers_of_NA/text)
and replace them by unzipping version 10.3.3 of the phenotypic
directory to your SD card.

I hope that helps.

Thanks Greg,

Was not quite that easy, but at least i have 6 icons now showing and
working in Tangled.

I did as you suggested (deleted the txt files) and unzipped 10.3.3
phenotypic directory directly to the card. What resulted was a second
tangled directoryr. I moved the phenotypic folder to the applicable
directory. Then removed the new second directory.

But I have bigger problems me thinks...the following are the results
of files/size from pc and card.
PC SD Card
Tangled Directory
size 775MB (812,990,464) 949MB(995,786,752)
Contains 7755 files 126 folders 7760 files 125 folders

Birds of NA
size 761 MB(798,09303212) 928MB(973,832,192)
Contains 7438 files 38 folders 7451 files 37 folders

I reckon they should be the same??? what should they be given a
correct download?

Thanks

Ken

Hi, Ken.

Unzipping a zipped /tangled directory to the SD card's root is
correct. Unzipping a zipped /tangled directory to the SD card's /
tangled directory is incorrect. In other words, tangled is good but
two tangled (i.e., /tangled/tangled) is bad. I'll mention this
potential pitfall in the installation instructions.
