Hi, Tom.

I've posted a test application at http://eduneer.com/tangled/tangled.test_2010_03_13.prc

Please run that on your Pre (in the MotionApps Classic emulator),
select the audio list's 'view/secure digital ID' menu item, and let me
know what gets displayed.

Thanks,
Greg

Greg,
It says:
strEncryptID:vsd
cardID: Ma001_vsd
sdid.txt:Ma001_vsd
checksum:76780

Hi, Tom.

I've posted another test application. This one at
http://eduneer.com/tangled/tangled.test_2010_03_14.prc

Please run that and do the same test (i.e., select the audio list's

'view/secure digital ID' menu item, and let me

know what gets displayed). If all three card IDs match in the dialog,
go ahead and try viewing photographs and listening to the
recordings ... and let me know the results of that.

Thanks,
Greg

Greg,
The info is the same and the results as well, still can't see the
photos or listen to the recordings.

Thanks

Hi, Tom.

I've posted another test application. This one at

http://eduneer.com/tangled/tangled.test_2010_03_15.prc

Please run that and do the same test, and also let me know the version
number of the test application (the version number is displayed by
selecting the class list's 'help/about Tangled application' menu
item).

Thanks,
Greg

Same results from the test, the version displaying is 0.0 build 3

Hi, Tom.

It appears that I've either forgotten how to count to four, or there
are some leading or trailing spaces in that card ID. (I'm hoping for
the latter. :*)

I've posted another test application. This one at

http://eduneer.com/tangled/tangled.test_2010_03_16.prc

Let me know what the audio list's 'view/secure digital ID' menu item
says this time.

Something different this time!
strMemCardID(16):Ma001_vsd
strEncryptID(8):vsd
card ID:Ma001_vsd
sdid.txt:Ma001_vsd
checksum:76780

Hi, Tom.

There are seven characters of something after 'Ma001_vsd'. I've
assumed that those characters are spaces in this next test. If they
are spaces, this test should enable the photographs. If not, I'll
write another test to hex dump the card ID to a file so we can see
what the card ID actually is.

Here's the test: http://eduneer.com/tangled/tangled.test_2010_03_16b.prc

Hi, Tom.

Cool. I'll add the check for spaces within the card ID to the next
release of the Tangled application.

After you've had some time to experiment with Tangled running on your
Pre, please write up a little description of your installation/setup
process, and a little evaluation of how the MotionApps emulator
running Tangled compares with a PalmOS device running Tangled.

Thanks again,
Greg
