Hmm. I haven't heard of any Yahoo! server problems and http://eduneer.com
is available now. Anyone else having problems accessing http://eduneer.com?

I can't download the new Peck. When I click on the link on
eduneer.com. I get this page: Sorry, the page you requested was not
found.

Additionally, a 410 Gone error was encountered while trying to use an
ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Thanks guys. The tangled-Installer.prc file was indeed nowhere to be
found. I just (re?)uploaded that file and (re?)verified the file's
existence and size on the Yahoo! server, so the link should work now.

I tried after receiving this message. When I go to "PalmOS devices"
under "Tangled Platforms" the download link for :

Tangled application
version 10.8.1
1.3 Mbyte PalmOS installer application download

gives me the same message from Yahoo. The other download links in
this category seem to work.

Hope this helps.

I was able to download it. Does the phenotypic need to be updated as
well for the new version to work?

Yes, the new phenotypic directory is recommended.

Because the new version (i.e., 10.8.1) of Tangled uses the latest AOU
checklist, it should be linked with the new version (i.e., 10.8.1) of
the phenotypic directory which is updated to use the latest AOU
checklist. However, it is not strictly necessary to update the
phenotypic directory. When the Tangled application and the phenotypic
directory are using different versions of the AOU checklist, the link
errors that result when selecting the class list 'select/link' menu
item do not prevent the Tangled application from running, but decrease
the number of ways checks can be projected between lists.

When I try to link the new version without updating the phenotypic, I
get the following:
link error logging stopped because more that 100 line errors detected
out of 327280 links, 216 link errors detected

That's as expected. The new species symbols in the Tangled
application's DB are not linking with the old species symbols in the
old phenotypic directory. Note that the "link error logging" stopped
at 100 line errors in order to avoid filling up too much of your SD
card with a link error log. However, the link process continued and
found 216 link errors ... which isn't that bad considering there are
over 300,000 links total. Also note that the Tangled application
still runs after detecting those link errors, but with fewer paths to
project checks between the lists.

Delete the old phenotypic directory and replace it with the new to get
rid of those 216 link errors.
