Focusing our Fire!
The imperialist system in a deep economic, social, cultural and political crisis talks of full diplomatic relations with Cuba while imposing sanctions against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela! As we are approaching the summit of the OAS to be held in Panama, the U.S. government is planning to mobilize as many paid NGOs as possible in order to divide the Latin American and Caribbean countries and create confusion among the masses of people, thus furthering its hegemonic agenda in the region.
The recently exposed and defeated coup d’état, engineered by the U.S. and with the involvement of Canada and the United Kingdom, carried out by the filthy rich opposition which is subordinated to the dictates of Washington, shows the imperialist system’s plan of action for the continent.
Today we also learned that the U.S. government can only mobilize the terrorists and paid mercenaries to showcase as "Cuban civil society" for the parallel summit of the peoples which began today. Just to give an example of the desperation of the U.S. oligarchy in its struggle against the Cuban Revolution, the Bolivarian Revolution and the growing consciousness of the masses of people in reference to sovereignty and a life with dignity, we shall only mention the presence, at the summit, of Félix Rodríguez Mendigutía, the CIA-trained terrorist who was directly involved in the assassination of the internationalist revolutionary leader Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara in Bolivia, as was indicated by the CIA.
That is why we will focus our fire of attention on exposing the U.S.-imposed criminal blockade of Cuba while we stand in solidarity with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, sanctioned by the same and we call for unity amongst forces for peace, for social justice and against the wars of terror that are being carried out by the U.S. government and its allies. We will educate around these issues in order to mobilize the largest forces possible to safeguard the sovereignty of nations faced by imperialist threats, provocations, sanctions and whatever else they might have in their arsenal!
