Dear Applicant:
We are pleased to inform you that the Board has approved your application for licensure as a Professional Engineer in Texas, subject to passage of the NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) Examination. This is your official notice to register for the PE exam.
You have been granted four consecutive opportunities to schedule and pass the examination, beginning with the October 2014 (TBD), examination. You can register for the PE examination online at the NCEES website: http://ncees.org
Online registration will be available starting June 2014 (TBD). The deadline date for scheduling for the October 2014 (TBD), exam is September 2014 (TBD).
Please refer to the NCEES website at http://www.ncees.org for the examination availability schedule, exam and calculator policies, and other important exam information.
When you register for the exam you will receive additional correspondence from NCEES. No additional correspondence will be sent to you by the Texas Board. If you do not succeed in passing the examination within the allotted time, your application for licensure as a Professional Engineer will be disapproved by the Board under the provisions of Board Rule 133.87(b)(3).
