Happy President's Day Weekend, Lower Elementary Teamsters! This month's email blast is filled with information about the March Mastery Workshop Day on March 5th and content resources. Check it out!

March Mastery Workshop Day

...filling reading, math, and culture gaps in the final 3rd of the year

You are looking at data. You are thinking about each student’s progress toward your goals—both quantitative and qualitative. Now it is time to fill in those gaps in understanding and mastery! Come get strategies, tricks, resources, and more at the March Mastery Workshop. Collaboration Leaders and Alumni will support you as you get ready to make your spring push toward mastery!

When: March 5th, 2011 starting at 10:00 AM (breakfast served at 9:45 AM)

Where: Rocketship Los Suenos

Workshop Sessions Include:

  • Re-engage Your Students and Use Pre-teaching to Achieve Mastery
  • Critical Thinking and Test Prep CAN Go Together
  • Filling Reading Gaps with Comprehension, Word Work, and Other DRA Specific Skills (K-2, 2-5)
  • Revitalize with Rigorous Review
  • Re-invest Your Students with Ongoing Culture Building and Better Incentives (presented by Oakland Teacher of the Year (Kinder) and a 5th grade Aspire teacher in order to reach all grade levels)
  • Morning Meeting and Conflict Resolution
