April 30th Workshops <Response Requested!!>

Hello wonderful content leaders,

I wanted to reach out to all of you about the upcoming April 30th workshop day. The workshop will be from 10-1 in the east bay (location is still being finalized). The vision for this day of workshops is helping corps members deepen their classroom vision and think big picture for next year.  Some topics include student-led initiatives, parent advocacy, and writing thematic/cross-content units.

Because this is our last workshop day I wanted to make sure that it was on all of your calendars, in the hopes that you might be able to attend. I also wanted to reach out to see if anyone else was interested in presenting a workshop. I know that many of us listed facilitation as one of our areas for professional development and this will be the last big opportunity this year.

If you are interested in presenting, and have a topic that aligns with our vision, please email me by Tuesday April 12. I apologize for the late notice, but we want to make sure we have the total number of workshops finalized by the middle of this week.

If you do not want to present, but would like to help out in some other way, please email me. I will be updating you on what specific help we need in the next few weeks.
