Hey Team! Gil just sent this out to the ECE corps members, and I think it's fantastic for many reasons: the short message, the visual, listed measures (standards), etc. Just a thought for a great way to keep in touch with your grade level CM's in an easy/ non-too-time consuming way.

Hey ECEr's,
Wanted to pass this activity for you circle time.
Alphabet Post-It Classification
Circle Time- Measure 21 - Letter and Word Recognition
- Measure 34 - Classification
Activity: Teacher puts 2-3 letters on a chart and, throughout the week teacher hands students post-its to properly classify.
Modifications: draw pictures with words (displayed), lower case letters, names, just pictures, just words.
Materials: I used poster board and tape to make the lines (might need extra tape to keep on) and a supply of good post-it notes. (Cheap post-its will fall off during the week.
