disable strip trailing spaces

TextWrangler automatically strips trailing spaces when saving a text file.

How to disable this feature?

There is an option "strip trailing spaces" in Preferences -> Text files.

However, TextWrangler ignores this option, and it always strips trailing spaces.

I couldn't reproduce that issue. I get the expected behavior when I toggle the option.

What version are you using? I'm on 5.5.1.
Have you tried on multiple files?
