How to open several new documents individually, not tabbed?

    Version 8 opened new TextSoap documents individually. Version 9

    opens them in tabs.

    

    Although tabs are positive, there are use-cases when I want to open several new documents individually (then I order them side-by-side), not in the tap structure.

    

    There doesn't seem to be a setting which would allow this.

    

    Or is there a work-around maybe?

Beta 9.5.1b6 (3208) has a new setting in General Preferences that will allow you to direct this behavior for documents.

In the tabs for document option (Settings), what is the difference between "Never" and Automatic"?

Automatic means follow your system settings for handling tabbed documents. 

Settings > Desktop & Dock > Windows > Prefer tabs when opening documents

Never means avoid creating tabbed documents.

The setting is under Preferences > General. To disable putting documents into tabs, choose "Never".
