Future - TextSoap User Interface

TextSoap 9 was designed in 2020-2021, so it may be time for a redesign. That includes the custom editor. 

Some ideas : 

• Shortcuts app user interface (with multiple "document windows")
• A single-window version of Shortcuts app.
• Tags: Custom cleaners can specify custom tags. Custom groups could then dynamically be created based on tags or other search criteria.

If you have other apps that navigate various editors that you think I should check out, let me know.

I would like to hear your feedback.

mein Wunsch wäre, Deine TextSoap mit AppleScript so steuern zu können, daß aus meinem FileMaker-Pro-Magazin meine Regex-Strings in die TextSoap-Suche übergeben werden können (für Suchen und für Ersetzen). TextSoap hat eine AppleScript-Bibliothek. Die ist knapp. Mein Arbeitsverlauf geht über GUI-Scripting. Das war bißchen tricky, es zu entwickeln. Dafür habe ich aber meine Regex-Sammlung übersichtlich in FileMaker Pro. In FileMaker kann ich meine Notizen frei organisieren. Reihenfolge und Stapelverarbeitung ist auch möglich.

Für mich ist TextSoap jetzt schon große Klasse.

Good morning, Mark, 

I'd like to be able to access windows (tabs), buttons (magnifying glass for regex), and fields (search and replace), and a button (Find) using your AppleScript library. 

So far, I've had to do this via GUI scripting. 

With TextSoap 8 and High Sierra, it worked so well that I enjoyed working with it. Now I'm forced to start over with TextSoap 9.5.4 and Sequoia. And at least a static AppleScript.scpt works well. But I can't get the same AppleScript to run from within FMP. 

Therefore, I would like to know if you could elaborate on your AS library. I would like to access TextSoap directly instead of GUI scripting.

mit Deiner AppleScript-Bibliothek würde ich gerne Fenster (Register), Knöpfe (Lupe für Regex) und Felder (Suchen und Ersetzen), Knopf (Find) ansprechen können.
Bisher muß ich das über GUI-Scripting erledigen. 

Mit TextSoap 8 und High Sierra ging das so gut, daß ich damit gerne arbeitete. Nun muß ich gezwungenermaßen einen Neuanfang mit Textsoap 9.5.4 und Sequoia wagen. Und immerhin läuft ein statisches AppleScript.scpt gut. Ich bekomme es aber nicht hin, dasselbe AppleScript aus FMP heraus ablaufen zu lassen.

Deshalb wäre mein Wunsch, ob Du Deine AS-Bibliothek genauer ausbilden könntest. Ich würde gerne anstelle von GUI-Scripting direkt Textsoap erreichen.
