How do I get paragraph breaks back?

to TextSoap

When I copy and paste from Descript into TextSoap, I see paragraph markers in between paragraphs, but when I then copy and paste from textsoap into my document, the paragraphs all disappear. It was not doing that before.

In between, I had pasted some lyrics into TextSoap, and I deliberately got rid of the paragraphs. But now that I want them back for my Descript texts, I can't figure out how to get them back.

Still trying to figure out how to get my paragraphs back. TextSoap is giving me all the lines with no returns in between.
