Cleaner not working with Descript copy/paste

Hello,

I have a custom script that uses a cleaner to capitalize the word that comes after a colon. Recently, I noticed that it is no longer working when I copy and paste text from Descript into TextSoap.

It still works fine if I hand type into TextSoap or if I copy and paste from another application, such as Apple Notes. But not when I paste from Descript.

I tried copying from Descript to Apple notes first and then from Apple Notes to TextSoap, but I get the same issue where it is not capitalizing the word after the colon.

I suspect that Descript is adding an invisible character somewhere? Does anybody know how I can fix this?

TextSoap: 9.7.1 Direct Edition

Descript: Version 2.16.5 

EXAMPLE:

Input (from Descript): MP: something profound

Expected: MP: Something profound

Actual: MP: something profound
