Hi MJ,
The bumping is mainly because of the number of objects around but
honestly I cannot say the autopilot in Second Life is doing a good job
avoiding bumps into objects.
This is why it happens frequently.
Second Life is a virtual environment more than a game. So, it does not
have a story line, levels or goals like games. In other word, you
decide what to do. You can teleport to new locations and discover
places, you can meet with new people etc.
You are not limited to virtual ability island. There are many many
other islands. If you want I can provide you a list of randomly
selected islands.
To go to an island , for example Glidden island, just type teleport to
Glidden. TextSL will teleport you to the island.
TextSL does not provide any functionality for changing profile or
buying stuff but hopefully they will be available in the future. For a
list of available commands, type help in TextSL interface.
Please ask any further questions you have. I will be glad to answer
them.
