I'm still using 10.6 -- so it practical I would refer that 10.7 not be a requirement.

I'm using textmate at work on 10.6. They only just upgraded my XP
machine so I think the chances of getting a 10.7 build anytime soon are
remote, please spare a thought for those of us coding in cubby holes in
the corporate world!

Sorry let me be clearer. Like Stephen I'd prefer it not be a
requirement, but I'd also hate to stand in the way of progress.

I can always go back to 1.5 at work.

Especially with 10.8 just round the corner I might just have to resign
myself to waiting until the boss needs to upgrade iTunes - thats what
seems to drive our upgrade cycle!

Cheers
