[TxMt] TM2 taking up 100% CPU

I was periodically editing and compiling a LaTeX document when TextMate 2 started running at 100% CPU (still usable, though). In the background I have open a text file, a C++ project, a Ruby file and an HTML file.

I grabbed a sample:

Looks like the SCM badges being updated, presumably because something is causing constant disk changes (e.g. appending to log file) in a folder which TM is watching for changes (to update the badges).
