48. What is the difference between TAU’S Distance & Online Learning Program?

Well, many people they were not aware about Online Learning System where as they were well known about Distance Learning; hence to avoid the confusion here we are saying it’s a Distance & Online Learning programs.

However the Major difference between these two’s are as follows:-

Distance Learning	Online Learning
Travelling is must.	No Travelling is required.
Should attend direct seminar classes once                          in a while for a minimum period.	No direct seminar classes in person but can have individual tutor’s lectures for the entire duration of the program and also clarify their queries with online tutors whenever it’s necessary.
It creates an interrupt to their commitments in that particular period.	There is no interrupt for their commitments at any cost. They can learn from their own pace & place.
There is no flexibility in Time Management.	It is very flexible for Time Management.
It’s purely a self learning platform.	It’s also a self learning but with proper guidance at proper time.
There is no advanced technical feature.	There is an advanced technical feature like Video Lectures, Audio conferencing, Digital Library and also can able to participate in forums, blogs & wikis.
There is no 24/7 Access.	It is kind enough to access for 24/7.
