I was wondering what you guys put in your feeders this time of
year. Do you stay with the same type of food for the entire antler
growth period? When do you go back to corn only? Also, what are the
options for getting water on my property? Does anybody know
approximately what drilling for water would run?

Thanks for your help!

P.S.
Nice bucks Mr. Ziegler!

Does anyone use feed stores other than Ozona Wool & Mohair and Triple
C Hardware?

I was wondering if there are cheaper or other feed options in Ozona?

Thanks.

Hey Chris,

There's two in Sonora.. Rafter W, and Red Horse Feed. I only got corn
from Red Horse last year once because they were open til 5 pm or so.
Everything in Ozona was closed. I don't know what products they carry
this time of year, but if you can post your research I would greatly
appreciate it. I'll be looking for Record Rack pellets, soy beans, and
corn. Let me know what you find.
Thanks, Joe Murphy

Our protein is bought at Triple C hardware and is in bag form. I know it
can be bought in bulk from there for a reduced price, but is still very
expensive. Don't know of any other options sorry,
Trent

Hey Guys/Gals

I called Triple C in Ozona and they carry a 50 lb., 17-20% protein
pellet bag from Alderman Cave, and corn, I think that's all they
have .
Open Mon-Fri 7-5:30 and Saturdays 7-12
(325)392-4123

Then I called Rafter W in Sonora and they had a variety to choose
from. Just a few she mentioned were:
Antler Plus
Purina Deer Chow
Dream Maker
Record Rack
Watershield Antler Max from Purina ( doesn't dissolve easily? )
and Corn.
All ranging in price from $7-$12
Open Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 and Saturday 7:30-3:00
