Position: Splunk Architect
Location- Memphis, TN
Duration- 6 months of contract
Visa-GC/USC
Job Description:
Mandatory Skills:-
• Minimum of 10 years of
related work experience
• Splunk Certified Admin
• Splunk Certified Architect
• Splunk Certified Power user
• 3-5 years of Splunk Development experience
• Experience in Splunk DB Connect, ITSI, HEC is a plus.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Unix, Python, Pearl, etc.)
Responsibilities:
• Establish and ensure adoption of best practices and development standards
using Splunk
• Develop alerts and timed reports Develop and manage Splunk applications
• Design and optimize Splunk architecture for large-scale/distributed
deployments
• Design and customize complex search queries, and promote advanced searching,
forensics and analytics
• Develop dashboards, data models, reports and optimize their performance
• Develop alerts and timed reports Develop and manage Splunk applications
• Splunk deployment, configuration and maintenance across a variety of UNIX and
Windows platforms
• Troubleshoot Splunk server problems and issues
• Analyze logs for the all major applications and come up with most affected
areas or reoccurring issues
• Maintain a close partnership with Splunk on feature requests, upgrade
planning, and product roadmap alignment
• Undertake day-to-day operational and user support
• Execute on new projects and data/user onboarding
• Experience in SOAP, REST API, web-based technologies and scripting languages
including Javascript, Python, Perl and shell scripting, XML, HTML.
• Experience in requirements analysis, engineering, and testing in real world
environments
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
