Just wanted to introduce myself and say that I hope we can get some
local momentum going here !

i agree!  i worked as an assistant to one of ANWF's advisors and believe that this is a great worthwhile cause.  i work with a number of area groups and could easily increase involvement if someone shows me!

hi all -- there is a call for local protests week of november 16th. would you want to pass out flyers and help get it organized and maybe do a planning meeting to get others involved?

launchign campaigns in a couple of days, more details soon... we'll
reach out to our lists together and get our anwf-dallas group going
and doing something!

if you want to start planning a planning meeting, that would be a
great way to start. we can ask people to come to the meeting to work
on campaigns together.

yes, there won't be anything this week, but we're doing a write them
campaign where people write their senators/set up meetings with foia
request and letter to co-sponosr Sanders' bill, write bloggers and
forums about the break up the banks policy prescription.

it would be great to have you guys get together to get more local
groups signed onto the pledge to break up the banks..

there is talk about direct action at the banks. definitely going to be
big action in april/may
