President: Kim Culebro (Fall ‘22) Welcome back!!! Iron spikes disaffiliation - Hateful language, other issues discovered, not disaffiliated forever just for this semester. If you need any more information or watch to discuss it further please reach out to me! Vote if Ironspikes will be allowed at Lonestars events, would have consequences if you brought an Ironspikes if the vote determined we will not allow Ironspikes at Lonestar events. So much to look forward to!! Signature item!! After discussion with exec we will release a vote to GM. Sooner than you think! Lots to look forward to! |
Vice President: Sisterhood! Natalie Longacre (Fall ‘22) GM requirement overview, starlettes now inducted have a requirement change. 6 sisterhood points with at least one official sisterhood point. Contracts!! You MUST fill out to be a Lonestar and be on the roster. Different forms for GM vs. Seniors. GM conflict form if you have anything that conflicts with GM meeting. Apply to sisterhood committee!! Info form with all your favorite things, roommate info, etc. First sisterhood event: Let’s bloom into the new year. Next sunday January 25th 1-3pm, free event so please fill out interest form |
Spirit: Sophie Schulze (Fall 24) Recruitment Tailgate this saturday January 17th 3-5 @ Ion First Tailgate with Lambda Chi next Saturday the 24th @10:30am PLEASE BE THERE!!! IM interest form & Committee apps, Please Apply!!! |
Service: Gaby Casias (Sp 25) Recruitment and PP opportunities this week. Same layout with the tracker and database like last semester. Can sober star the salsa limon tab on thursday! Submit, track, and data base! |
Project Princess: Amina Imam (Spring ‘24) & Juliana Trevino (Fall 24) Committee applications!! We need a lot of people to help out for boutique day. If you have any family members or businesses open to sponsor please reach out to us!! Profit shares after recruitment info sessions and recruitment service event create prom readiness kits!! Boutique day confirmed for march 27th-29th, required to do two shifts, if not you will be required to do extra hours. Non monetary hour opportunities! Donations will be a big opportunity to get points! Graphic for donations will be uploaded to instagram and is available on the TWIL. First event of the semester: Donations drive! Donate and get hot cocoa for free or buy Hot cocoa to get hours! Please donate items in good condition, remember this is going to other girls and we want to make sure each item is in good shape, makeup needs to be unopened. |
DEI: Evasophia Lobo & Alizeh Manzar (Fall ‘24) Recruitment guidelines, NMC got a workshop, do not follow any PNMS back, judge based off person not instagram, be mindful of the effort of other lonestars in the recruitment process, treat everyone equally and with kindness, do not claim littles, do not discriminate on age, no discriminatory language or treatment of any kind, DEI form about PNMS if any issues arise, try to talk to PNMS - I know recruitment can be tiring bt do your best to mix with the PNMS instead of active members, do not talk anything behind the scenes, remember to represent the org in the best way possible, don’t talk about other organizations in a negative manner, Document will all this information will be sent out soon. If you have ideas for more events you want to see, you can submit it to the feedback form. Committee to help us with events and workshops, please apply it’ll be super fun!!! |
Social: Reva Prodduturi & Yamini Shekhar (Fall 24) First event: Salsa Limon tab and karaoke night FREEEEE RSVP closing now and pick up for bands is after meeting today. Tab and food for the first hour and just drinks for the second hour. Use discretion when using ID’s. Majority of the inside space will be reserved to Lonestars! Upcoming event: Wine night!! RSVP closing tonight at 11:59pm, cost will include the custom glass, wine, and juice. Option varies for stem vs. stemless wine glasses. Poll sent out for which glass you’d rather have. Stemless decided, $5 will be added to your monies if you RSVP. Feedback form in the TWIL! |
Recruitment: Saidee Flores & Allyson Schmidt (Sp 25) Three QR codes - VERY important. Everything recruitment doc, has everything in regards to recruitment in the doc, especially if you are GM wanting to participate in informal interviews/deliberation. Recruitment calender has all the events listed. Tabling!!! Please sign up it’s super important and we appreciate everyone who signs up! Table so you can mix with potential PNMS and talk about Lonestars. Info session and Roppolos profit share today!! Spring 25 and Fall 25 are required to partipitpate in informal interviews - please fill out the form it is very important so we can see if you cannot attend. GM must attend any 2 recruitment events to take part in informals. Tabling is a great way to get service hours too!! Join the bounce to see any updates or hype us up. Treasurer: Abby Ward (Spring ‘24) Heres your money sheet for the semester. If you want a payment plan please submit the form! If you did not pay your fall monies they have rolled over to the spring semester. Things are looking up!! Monies deadline due 02/17, please submit payment plan as soon as possible.
