Upcoming open events & new OER from COERLL

Hello!

On May 5th from 5-6:30pm COERLL (UT Austin) will be hosting a webinar "Creating, adapting, sharing: OER in Spanish Heritage Language instruction". Although it's specific to Spanish, this may be of interest to others in the OER community because it will be a conversation between an OER author (Margarita Casas - Linn-Benton Community College) and someone who adapted and adopted that same OER (Flavia Belpoliti - TAMUC).

Also, I wanted to let everyone know that COERLL recently published Her Şey Bir Merhaba ile Başlar, an open textbook for intermediate Turkish language learning, licensed CC BY-SA.

Lastly, COERLL's summer workshops are listed on our events page in case anyone is interested in the intersection of OER and language pedagogy, and recordings and abstracts from our recent language OER conference with the Open Language Resource Center are linked from that same page.
