Greetings Texas OER Community,
As we approach the two-year anniversary of the OERTX repository, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) invites you as a valued member of the Texas OER community to participate in OERTX Celebration Week, September 26 – 30. During this week of celebration, we will highlight how the THECB has partnered with members of the OER community to create programs, grants, resources, and services to increase awareness of, build capacity for, and recognize digital excellence in open educational resources and open education practices.
Launched in September 2020, the OERTX repository represents a growing collection of over 9,000 open educational resources curated and created for educators and students. The OERTX community is made up of more than 243,000 users globally and fosters community engagements through 53 groups and 7 professional networking hubs.
Join us for an OERTX Showcase and OERTX training sessions to celebrate the two-year anniversary of the repository:
Come join the OERTX community to find resources and navigate the tools that are available to help you and create OER. This session will introduce the tools of the OERTX platform including advanced searching, groups, and adapting/creating resources. We will highlight collections of resources so that you will be ready to find and use OER effectively.
