Reminder: March 31 Deadline for DigiTex OER Grant Program

Colleagues: 

The deadline for the DigiTex Open Educational Resources Development Small Grant Program is rapidly approaching on March 31! This new program is designed to encourage the creation and/or adaptation of resources to support courses in the Workforce Education Course Manual (WECM). Faculty members, full- or part-time, at any public Texas Community College may apply individually or as a team, to include another faculty member, instructional designer, and/or librarian. 

DigiTex will award up to $20,000 total in grants. Grants will range from $500–$2,000 to create or adapt OER course components such as modules, online homework, lab manuals, assessments, or other support materials. Completion of Texas Learn OER, peer review of the resource(s), and submission to the OERTX repository will be required.
