The Gibson D. Lewis Library, located at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC), invites candidates to apply for our recently created OER & Copyright Librarian. This position supports endeavors with open educational resources (OERs) and collaborates with the Division of Academic Innovation (DAI) HSC Learning Plus micro-credential program on copyright issues. Additionally, this position focuses on advancing OER awareness at HSC. A strong background in open education/access or copyright is desired. This position reports to the Associate Director of Digital Scholarship. 

Lewis Library serves the education, research, and patient care needs of all programs and individuals at the UNTHSC, serves as a resource library for the National Library of Medicine, and operates the library for JPS Health Network. 

 

UNTHSC is located in the cultural district of Ft Worth. This campus is part of the UNT System, based exclusively in the robust Dallas-Ft Worth region. Current enrollment across all campuses is 47,000+ and awarding nearly 12,000 degrees per year. 

 

Salary: $60,000+ commensurate with experience
